Testimonials
Just wanted to drop a few lines and wish you all the best for the Christmas/New Year period.
I also wanted to thank you for all the efforts you have put in at Raw Edge Crossift over the past 12 months.
I can recall just over a year ago when Dunny, Sloany and I at the first session battled to do about 3 box jumps before resorting to step ups. In that time I personally feel that I have turned the clock back a little bit both mentally and physically. I only wish that I learnt about Crossfit when I was alot younger as I don't think I have ever been fitter in my life even at 39 years of age.
In regards to the training, I have found it to be the most physically challenging and intense I have ever experienced. This includes my younger years when it was not uncommon to have to do 100 X 100 metre sprints or numerous 100/200/400 metre runs at a time during pre-season training. That type of training was a chore and not very enjoyable. I now participate in high intensity training for an hour or less at Raw Edge with some great people of various backgrounds and even though highly challenging, find it enjoyable, rewarding and unfortunately "addictive".
I know this has alot to do with the very professional standard of instruction delivered at Raw Edge especially by Brian and Aimee. The workouts are always varied and challenging with Brian and Aimee providing plenty of motivation. Brian and Aimee are always willing to help out with some personal instruction when asked, this does not go un-noticed.
I wish you continues success at Raw Edge Crossfit and thanks for all your help throughout the year.

I just want to say that I could not wipe the smile off my face when we completed the 8 Weeks of Bootcamp. It has been a fantastic 8 weeks of blood, sweat and tears – well not quite.
To share a little background, I had always had this goal to be fit at 40. That goal was set many years ago after having kids and retiring from competitive Basketball and my mates jokingly said that it was a smart goal because I had years to achieve it and didn’t even have to worry about it for now. Well in January 2011 I will turn 39 and fit at 40 sounded like it was going to pass me by, until I saw your banner at the local park and said to my kids – I’m going to sign up for that and as they say the rest is history.
I’ve gone from passing out in bed after the very first session, falling asleep in my car outside of the office, to feeling great and making a few gains along the way.
You have always made it interesting to say the least and not repetitive in any way shape or form. I’ve learnt many new things like kettle bells, Turkish lifts, sumo dead lift, burpees, mountain climbers, tyre pulls, tyre lifts, tyre jumps and my new found friend Janine etc . . . and loved the variety. Your gentle but firm but encouraging coaching has been great and I’ve gone from ladies push ups to at least now doing 10 Man Push ups. I’ve got a long way to go to get my full set of ‘Guns’ but at least I feel like I’m packing a ‘Pistol’ and have gone from a ‘Keg’ to a ‘Two Pack’, only 4 more to go to get my 6 Pack.
So in summary, love what you guys do and I will be going away on holiday’s feeling fit, healthy and excited about doing active stuff with my wife and kids and setting a positive example for them all.
Keep it up and you really have made a positive difference in my life.
Thank you and see you at the next session.
