Well guys REF has been cranking for one month now and I have got to say that I am pretty impressed with the results thus far. All of you have progressed nicely and all that hard training is definitely paying off. I look forward to further progression by you all and I promise that the training will intensify to match those gains you all have achieved.

As this is the first entry of our blog I don't have much in the way of witty comments or snide remarks, but I would just like to say that I know it was you Glynny who not only accessed certain images of a REF Trainer, but also decided to disseminate the same images amongst colleagues of this same trainer.

What goes around comes around brother..

Just to give everyone a heads up for 2010, we will be changing some of the timetables, that is running three sessions Monday to Thursday from 1630hrs through to 1930hrs and Saturday morning sessions from 0800hrs through to 1000hrs. We welcome two other trainers who bring substantial experience and knowledge in various areas of the fitness and within the martial arts industry. Based on CF methodology, boxing and other practical martial art training will commence on Mondays and Wednesdays, with our normal Boxing for fitness classes being on Tuesday and Thursdays. We will be running various courses out of our facility including Basic kettlebell courses and Kettlebell instructor courses as well as a Caveman Instructor Course in August 2010, which promises to be three days of PAIN.

Boot Camps, which promise to be intensive and popular kick off in the New Year and we will run 6 and 8 week programs through Summer and Autumn in the mornings and afternoons. These come highly recommended and will be the traditional BOOT Camps based on military style training techniques.

Lastly, we still offer the one on one training if that's what you are after and with our competitive prices, experienced team and personalised service you wont be disappointed.

So it promises to be a busy time in 2010.

From all of us at REF have a great Xmas and awesome New Year and we look forward to your continued support in 2010 as we strive to achieve your fitness goals.

Looking forward to getting back to training after the Xmas break, little bit too much pudding and ham.

Did a short workout today, after 15 minutes on stepper:

3 rounds of 400 metre run, 10 push presses, 10 push ups, 10 dips, 5 knees to elbows in 12 minutes.

Finished with 8 intervals on rowing machine. 30 secs work 30 sec rest.

See you Tuesday night.

As one of the new trainers at REF I would like to say hello to everyone and extend my best wishes over the festive season.

Having been a trainer for nearly seven years I have become used to the fads and fashions of the fitness industry. I had heard about CF and Caveman styles of fitness but I hadnt really given it a go. I can honestly say that I am a converted man and will be adopting this training for a long long time.

I have seen some fantastic results from the REF clients over the past two months and i just wanted to say to those out there who feel intimidated by the CF/Caveman idea.....Give it a go!!! Yes its hard but we have beginners through to advanced. The best thing about the REF style is that you are against yourself (although you'll find you wanna beat someone at something-- trust me- Brian, Lendyl and I are always at each other).

Come down, say hello, see what its about and Im sure you will enjoy it.

Chris
